Profile
2007年5月結成。
シンガーソングライターの"有希(Yuuki)"と、マルチタレント(シンガー・モデル・役者etc)の"朝倉さくら(Sakura ASAKURA)"のふたりから成るヴォーカルユニット。
作詞、作曲を彼女たち自身で行ない、現在までにシングル3枚とアルバム1枚を発売。
年齢や性別を問わず、幅広い層から支持される作品を多く生み出している。
ユニット名には、お菓子の「JellyBeans」のように、様々な"色"や"味"を表現し、世界中で愛されるユニットになろう。という思いが込められている。
日本では多国籍都市"秋葉原"を中心に活動し、2008年からはフランスをはじめ、ドイツや中国でのプロモーション活動を積極的に行なっています。
ドイツ・デュッセルドルフにおいては、 在デュッセルドルフ日本国総領事より「日本ポップカルチャー大使」に任命される。
また、秋葉原のメイドカフェ「アキバ学園2年1組」や海外在住日本人携帯電話サービス「berry mobile」のイメージキャラクター等、ビジュアルを生かした活動も展開。
それぞれソロ名義でも活動をしており、アイドルの枠に収まりきらない、そのポテンシャルは未知数であり、魅力的なふたりです。


Meet the ≪ Jelly Beans ≫
Yuuki (singer-songwriter) and Sakura ASAKURA (singer, model, actress) started their vocal duo ≪ Jelly Beans ≫ in May 2007.
They compose and write the lyrics themselves. 3 singles and 1 album have already been released. Their music is supported by wide range of people and accessible to all ages.
The duo name ≪ Jelly Beans ≫ reflects their wish to be loved in the world for their various ≪ colours ≫ and ≪ flavors ≫ like the sweet candy.
In Japan, the ≪ Jelly Beans ≫ play an active role in ≪ Akihabara ≫, one of the most mutinational districts in Tokyo. Since 2008, they have broadened their international activites to France, Germany, and China. They have been appointed as ≪ Ambassador to Japanese Pop Culture ≫ by the consul general of Japan in Dusseldolf, Germany.
The ≪ Jelly Beans ≫ are expanding thier visual field. They are ≪ image character ≫ of a Maid Cafe called ≪ Akiba Gakuen 2 nen 1kumi ≫ in Tokyo, and of ≪ Berry Mobile ≫, a company offering mobile phone services for Japanese people living abroad.
Yuuki and Sakura ASAKURA are also pursuing their solo careers. Their potential is enormous and exceeds the stereotype of ≪ pop idol ≫. Look at them. Listen to their music. They will capture your heart!


2007年
5月、有希/朝倉さくらの合同ファンクラブとして『JellyBeans』発足
8月、JellyBeansの1stワンマンライブ『サマフェス'07』にて、オリジナル楽曲を初披露
9月、テレビ朝日「ザ・クイズマンショー」に出演
10月、コンピレーションアルバム『アキバイブル〜第1章〜』に参加
11月、2ndワンマンライブ『1日遅れちゃったけど‥お仕事お疲れ様☆』開催
12月、チバテレビ「アキバン！バン！バン！」が放送開始。朝倉さくらはメインMC、JellyBeansは準レギュラーとして参加
2008年
2月、1stDVD付シングル『男子禁制』を発売
4月、3rdワンマンライブ『さくらの季節にゆうきをあげちゃう！』開催
